Ontological Security Advisory Group
uNHIdden has established an Ontological Security Advisory Group (OSAG) to guide preparedness for disruptive or paradigm-shifting discoveries.
The group brings together academics and clinical practitioners to advise on mitigation strategies, trusted narratives and practical support pathways. The terms of reference are here.
uNHIdden is developing a Health Needs Assessment to understand which groups in society may be most affected by disclosure, the likely proportion of people affected, and their potential psychological needs. The OSAG will help develop a plan to mitigate the effects of ontological shock and to build societal resilience before and after any future disclosure.
Members of the OSAG include:
Gabriel G. de la Torre, PhD
Martin Abbas, MBBS MRCGP PGCME
Tim Lomas, PhD
John Elliott, PhD
Alexander Wendt, PhD
Julia Mossbridge, PhD
Brenda Denzler, PhD
Andrew M. Davis, PhD
