On 25th August 2025, the Unhidden Foundation (“uNHIdden”) launched its report on the health effects of encounters with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)

This document, with a foreword by Dr Jacques Vallée, is a literature review, drawing together published sources on medical signs and symptoms linked to UAP. The main findings are:

1. UAP are real – confirmed by the U.S. Government and acknowledged in reports prepared for the UK Government.
2. UAP can affect human health – shown by evidence from U.S. Government-commissioned research.
3. Likely mechanisms of injury include exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (particularly UHF and microwave), with additional reports of autoimmune conditions, physical wounds and psychological trauma.
4. Civilians lack access to knowledge about the health effects of UAP. Independent medical research is urgently needed, and past U.S. Government research held by agencies such as the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) should be released.

The message is clear: policymakers must consider the health impacts of UAP on citizens, alongside national security and safety-of-flight concerns.
